The law firm of Simmons-Brown & Cress was founded in 1995 by Michelle Simmons-Brown. After working as a sole practitioner for several years, Michelle expanded the law firm by adding a local individual, Jonathan O. Cress. After the retirement of Michelle in 2006, Mr. Cress took over the law firm. John J. Schwarz, II, another individual with local ties, joined the law firm in 2008.
